It might surprise you to learn that most arts organizations only generate around 15-35% of their revenue from ticket sales. There’s no reason to believe that we will be any different. We are, however, a registered 501(c)(3) with the IRS. As a result, your donations, bequests, and transfers are an essential component to the success of the Chamber Music Society of Wichita [CMS-ICT] and are deductible for federal income, estate, and gift tax purposes. Keep in mind, though, that only monies given in excess of your concert ticket fees can be treated in this manner. For more information, consult your trusted tax professional.
